Your Tasks:

You are responsible for defining and analyzing the Semiconductor Manufacturing industry market segments, applications, and industry and customer needs. In addition, you are familiar with the respective eco-system and provide market intelligence.

  • You identify important technology trends and create a technology roadmap for your segment.
  • You create annual segment marketing plans in close coordination with Sales, Production, and MARCOM (the PI marketing department).
  • You provide content for the creation of marketing materials and sales enablement measures.
  • You evaluate selected customer revenue, loyalty, and customer retention to optimize the global market segmentation strategy.
  • You take part in international trade fairs and conferences, industry associations, and online platforms.
  • You analyze the solutions of our competitors and develop go-to-market strategies for new PI products and solutions for your segment.
  • You cooperate directly with customers to understand their unfulfilled needs and give advice to the PI value streams when they develop new products and solutions with unique selling points


Your Profile:

You have a structured personality, as well as excellent communication and presentation abilities, and always remain focused on the overall objectives.

  • You have a diploma or master's degree in engineering or science, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • You have many years of in-depth market knowledge and experience as an employee in the Semiconductor Manufacturing industry, or with one of its suppliers.
  • You have at least five years functional experience in segment or product management, application development, as a system architect, or in business development.
  • You are an experienced semicon “networker” with a clear focus on the market requirements.
  • You are willing to travel globally more than 50%.
