We are looking for you Materials Coordinator

Role Overview

The Materials Coordinator will work in our advanced manufacturing assembly department. This is a full time role, Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm.  In this role you will be responsible for the coordination of materials throughout the production process.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the Materials Coordinator

  • Work with ERP system to plan and manage flow of materials from receiving, to the warehouse, thru kitting, and on to the production floor
  • Track shortages and assist Purchasing with expedite requests
  • Perform cycle counts
  • Perform annual inventory count and audit
  • Follow 5S and lean manufacturing principles and practices in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment

Education & Experience for Materials Coordinator

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Associate’s Degree or certificate in a technical discipline in electronics, mechanical, or related technologies is preferred

Skills & Requirements for Materials Coordinator

  • Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills
  • Expertise with MS Excel
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and lean production principles
  • Ability to lift and carry objects >40 lbs
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work activities
  • US Citizen or Green Card required – evidence of permanent ability to live and work in the US is an employment contingency for this position.
